If there’s one thing I love about being a wedding photographer in Norfolk, it’s capturing the unique personalities of each couple I work with. Fiona and William’s wedding at the stunning Little Green Wedding Barn on the 26th of October 2024 was no exception. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and plenty of sparkle (literally).

The Venue – Little Green Wedding Barn
When Fiona and William told me they’d chosen the Little Green Wedding Barn, I couldn’t wait to see how they’d made the space their own. This venue is a dream for Norfolk weddings with its modern barn charm, versatile spaces, and beautiful outdoor areas. Fiona and William loved how the barn offered three distinct spaces, perfect for the relaxed, inclusive vibe they envisioned for their big day.
The ceremony space was dressed beautifully, blending rustic elegance with modern touches. The outdoor elements also provided the perfect backdrop for some natural, intimate shots of the couple during their “first look” (more on that in a second).
Meaningful Moments
Fiona and William made sure their day was meaningful in every way. Instead of traditional entrances, they opted for a “first look” before walking down the aisle together. This personal touch added a sense of intimacy and set the tone for the ceremony.
During the reception, the couple stayed true to themselves by sitting side-by-side at dinner, surrounded by friends and family. It was clear to see how much effort they’d put into creating a day that reflected their fun and “silly” personalities.
The Evening Reception
Now, let’s talk about the evening – because Fiona and William’s reception was unforgettable. Their first dance to Sam Cooke’s “Sugar Dumpling” was such a happy moment, with everyone cheering them on.
But the fun didn’t stop there. They had a DJ from Party Starters to keep the dance floor alive all night, and a glitter bar by Face N Glitz added an extra sparkle to the evening. Guests loved the opportunity to get creative with glitter designs while striking poses in the photo booth. It felt like a mini festival!
