HINTLESHAM HALL WEDDING VENUE
Outdoor Summer Wedding at Hintlesham Hall
Today I am sharing a beautiful countryside outdoor wedding followed by laid-back reception in a grand luxury venue. Frances and Thomas’ Hintlesham Hall wedding was full of love, laughter and lots of personal details.
After capturing both bride and groom getting ready with their loved ones, they tied the knot and made it official at All Saints and St Margaret’s Church in Ipswich. It was a traditional ceremony in a stunning church that housed all of their 125 guests.
Frances wore a beautiful and modern white lace dress by Rembo Styling that matched the relaxed mood of the day, teamed with the most exquisite floral embroidered veil. She was supported by her six bridesmaids who wore pastel green matching gowns. Thomas beat the score with his seven groomsmen who wore traditional three-piece navy suits with pastel pink ties. The colours were continued with the flowers to make a cohesive and epic wedding party look! It was picture-perfect for the photography!
A stunning red Mini was their choice of transport to Hintlesham Hall. Decorated with Mr and Mrs balloons and an ivory ribbon it was a joy to photograph the newlyweds in this vintage car. This was an extra special moment to capture as this was the first time the groom had been allowed to drive his father’s precious classic, and the joy on his face said it all!
The weather was perfect for some outdoor photography and Hintlesham Hall did not disappoint with its grand exterior. It’s an impressive building with traditional décor which is steeped in history. This 16th-century grade 1 listed manor house is set within 175 beautiful acres of Suffolk countryside so photography locations were plenty. It really is a stunning venue to host a wedding at.
After making the most of the surroundings, Frances, Thomas, and their guests enjoyed a wedding breakfast of Hintlesham Hall’s yummy and award-winning cuisine. The speeches followed before the traditional cutting of the cake which took place in the scenic gardens of the venue. The beautiful cake by Hazlebury Kitchen was a floral masterpiece. With four tiers to feed their many guests, it had colourful pressed botanical flowers on every tier.
The evening reception saw the dancefloor filled continuously as the Ceilidh Band, The Caledonian Reelers played; they definitely brought the party to the wedding day! With some traditional dancing and some more modern moves, the room was filled with fun and laughter. It was the perfect end to this beautiful summer wedding.
Fun Fact About Frances and Thomas– Anything Ceilidh is bound to see them both partying down on the dancefloor (and it did!).
