In this real wedding blog post, I’m over the moon to share the delightful wedding of Charlotte and Freddie, a couple who embraced the beauty of Kings College in Cambridge as the backdrop for their special day!

From the very beginning, it was evident that Charlotte and Freddie wanted their wedding to be a celebration that exuded warmth, joy, and a relaxed atmosphere. They envisioned a day filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments that would forever be etched in their hearts. It was all about creating an experience that felt like a big family gathering, and it’s safe to say they succeeded with flying colours!

Nestled in the heart of Cambridge, Kings College provided a picturesque backdrop for the couple’s wedding ceremony. The stunning architecture, lush gardens, and the timeless charm of the college created an ambiance that was nothing short of magical. As the sun peeked through the trees, Charlotte made her way down the aisle, radiating pure beauty and grace, while Freddie awaited her arrival at the end, stood tall with pride and excitement.

After the heartfelt ceremony, the newlyweds made the most of the amazing surroundings with some couple and group portraits. I’m sure it’s no surprise to tell you how much I thoroughly enjoyed capturing these special moments with such a monumental backdrop! The photos were swiftly followed by a relaxed drinks reception with tasty canapés. The sound clinking of glasses and the cheerful chatter of loved ones filled the air, as everyone toasted to the couple’s happiness!
AN EVENING TO REMEMBER.
As day turned to dusk, the festivities continued into the evening. The vibrant energy of the reception at St Barnabas Church set the stage for an unforgettable night! With the amazing DJ Paula Frost spinning everyone’s favourite tunes, the dance floor remained packed with their friends and family throwing some fantastic dance moves. But what truly made this reception special was the couple’s invitation to everyone to join them on the dance floor for their first dance. It was a heartwarming moment as loved ones surrounded Charlotte and Freddie, creating a beautiful circle of support and love.

It’s clear to see that Charlotte and Freddie left no stone unturned when it came to the meticulous planning of their wedding. Not a single detail was missed, and the day flowed seamlessly from one magical moment to the next. Their impeccable attention to detail was matched by an exceptional lineup of suppliers who contributed to the overall success of the day. From the beautiful bespoke stationary and signage by Gable & Grain to the unforgettable cuisine by Puddini Caterers, flower arrangements by James Holden, charming crockery and tableware by Banqueting Hire and all round excellent planning by The Tiny Planner Company, every element reflected the couple’s vision and added an extra touch of magic.
As I reflect on Charlotte and Freddie’s wedding day at Kings College in Cambridge, I can’t help but smile. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, making for such a pleasurable day to photograph!
