Rustic Barn Winter Wedding at Hunters Hall
This rustic barn wedding of Laura and Dale was both beautiful and atmospheric. With the winter weather creating some moody yet dreamy backdrops it had a romantic vibe that was full of love at the stunning Hunters Hall in Norfolk.
Hidden away in the Norfolk countryside, Hunters Hall provides a serene and scenic barn environment with three beautiful spaces for your wedding day. The couple chose to have both their ceremony and reception at this beautiful, dedicated wedding venue in a farmland setting.
With exposed brickwork and beams this blank canvas rustic venue allowed the couple to decorate how they wished, another great plus with this space. Their styling was simple with a touch of rustic chic. With a navy, white and green colour scheme they carved a beautifully decorated wedding day. From the decorative wooden and floral centrepieces that matched the vibe of the barn perfectly to the fun balloon arch that framed an ‘all you need is love’ neon sign. Gin, a firm and favourite choice for this couple featured heavily throughout. Their tables were named after some of their favourite types, and they had the cutest bottles on the tables too. The cake was in simple white and adorned with fresh flowers that matched the bouquets and buttonholes.
Laura wore a fit and flare dress with the perfect mix of heavily beaded lace and simple ivory crepe. Her bridesmaids, in navy pleated and sequin gowns, matched the groom and groomsmen. A classic double-breasted suit with crisp white shirts and matching ties was finished off with a simple rose buttonhole that made a beautiful cohesive look for their wedding party. The flowers gave off winter wedding vibes. With a classic white rose mixed with greenery and seasonal purple thistles.
Hunters Hall is a photographer’s playground when it comes to scenic backdrops. With that in mind, I was eager to get some outside shots. Albeit cold, the weather was most definitely on our side for Laura and Dale’s romantic photos and group shots. The mist created an atmospheric mood that captured this couple’s love for one another beautifully.
The natural shots of the day captured the love and characters that filled the room amongst this couple and their family and friends. The evening reception brought fun, laughter and many a dance move, as this couple and their guests danced the night away with a live guitarist. It was the perfect end for Laura and Dale’s wedding at Hunters Hall.
