HALL FARM NORFOLK WEDDING VENUE
Outdoor DIY Wedding at Hall Farm Norfolk
This alternative wedding amongst nature at Hall Farm Norfolk is full of beautiful and personal DIY details. Carly and Daniel wanted a day that was a bit more “them”. They shunned the traditional wedding look and made a day to remember for all the right reasons. If you’re currently planning your own wedding and are wanting to add DIY elements to your day, then you are sure to get lots of fabulous inspiration from Carly and Daniel’s day at Hall Farm Norfolk.
On a summer’s day in July, I joined Carly, Daniel and their wedding party at this countryside location. My day started with the bridal party at Heron Cottage, which is just one of the nine private cottages that are located on-site. Hall Farm Norfolk is an exclusive venue in a secluded and private setting. It’s yours for three nights so you can extend your wedding and celebrate for longer! It’s perfect for DIY couples who want to create a day that’s full of character and personality.
Their ceremony took place outside by the stunning lake. Carly’s alternative but beautiful dress was the perfect vibe. With a stunning bronze sequin gown and a bouquet of foliage, she shone as she walked down the lawn to say “I do”. Waiting at the end was Daniel in his light grey summer suit and turquoise tie. The wedding party wore outfits that complimented the colours of the day which were beautifully vibrant for the summer outdoor vibe.
After saying I do, all their guests carried their own chairs back to the bell tent reception where they sat down for a relaxed wedding breakfast. All the tables were styled with DIY elements from the cute name placeholders to the complementary stationery and used gin bottles for the floral centrepieces.
Some bouncy castle fun was more than enjoyed in the afternoon. As the sun set I whisked the couple away to grab some last-minute, very cool shots before they partied hard. The evening reception commenced with their first dance and continued into the night with all their friends and family at the wonderful Hall Farm Norfolk.
Fun Fact About Carly and Daniel – When asked what tune was most likely to get them boogying on the dance floor, this was their response…“All of them!” and this was proven at their knees-up reception that saw them dancing the night away.
