Weddings signify a wonderful union of two souls, yet we can often get side tracked by the large and lavish extras that come with organising a wedding… I’m pleased to say that Samantha and Daniel certainly didn’t do this!
Their intimate wedding at Cley Windmill in Norfolk was a delightful affair filled with simplicity, relaxation, and a whole lot of fun. Let’s dive into the details of this truly special day!

Nestled in the heart of Norfolk, Cley Windmill served as a whimsical backdrop for Samantha and Daniel’s nuptials and an absolute pleasure to photograph. With its rustic charm and idyllic countryside views, this enchanting venue was the perfect choice for their intimate celebration, with the venue being dressed and styled by the talented Little Lending Co (newly known as Synched Events). Forget extravagant ballrooms and crystal chandeliers, these lovebirds opted for a more down-to-earth vibe that perfectly reflected their personalities.

Samantha and Daniel’s motto for their wedding was simple: “Happiness is best shared with those who make your heart sing.” Just twenty of their nearest and dearest were invited to join in the festivities. From childhood friends to beloved family members, the couple ensured that every guest was someone who added an extra sprinkle of joy to their lives.

Who said weddings are all about sitting still and looking pretty? Not Samantha and Daniel! They wanted their guests to let loose and have a blast, so they set up an outdoor mini-golf course and an array of lawn games. Everyone got their game on, ensuring endless laughter and friendly competition throughout the evening, which created the perfect opportunity for me to capture endless candid moments. It was a wedding celebration and a fun family day all rolled into one!

Forget about expensive bands or hired DJs, Samantha and Daniel took matters into their own hands. They curated a playlist that perfectly captured their love story, filled with songs that made their hearts skip a beat. All they needed was a smartphone, a Bluetooth speaker, and voila! The air was filled with the sweet melodies of their favourite hits, setting the perfect mood for the evening.

The delicious food festivities didn’t end there… Their ‘naked’ style wedding cake by The Fat Fairy truly matched their relaxed vibe and it tasted amazing, making everyone’s tastebuds tingle with pure wedding excitement!
